Deleting Partition on "new" Cache Drive?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to delete the partition on a newly acquired cache drive using unRaid?  I got the 250G drive from a friend, and don't own any Windows machines to be able to delete the partition.  Is there an unRaid tool I can use?

You do not need to do anything special.

If you pre-clear the disk, the preclear_disk.sh script will partition the disk exactly as unrAID would, and delete any existing partition.

If you let unRAID format the cache drive, it will partition the disk and delete any existing partition.
