I will try that, but I’m still a bit confused. There’s no doubt in my mind you’re correct, and Im gonna try it, but where is that port on my card? I can’t find it anywhere lol

Doesn’t seem like the new XML is working, I passed through the usb controllers and it still isn’t working, also I still cannot find that port on my graphics card  I know which one you’re talking about though

Be more specific please, errors when trying to start the vm?

The log doesn't lie, the kernel sees usb on your nvidia, a picture of the back of the gpu?

And a picture of the vfio check marks please.

I looked up the back of my GPU and checked IRL and this is what it looks like 

 

no errors, just black screen, the same state its been in for 2 or so days now

Reattach new diagnostic file please, after the changes I suggested applied, and after trying to start the vm.

Would it help if at this point I just restarted the process and made a new VM from scratch?

ok, one thing at a time.

 

1. You didn't paste the suggested xml I posted, but you modified the vm from the gui, please view the vm in advanced mode, delete all the lines in the xml and paste mine, then save. Probably it still won't boot but let's fix one thing at a time.

Okay I deleted everything and pasted your stuff in and its still a black screen

I do want to note that throughout the process, the screen has been black, but the monitor acts like theres a signal, im not sure if this helps at all

Ok, there's still this:

Can you try to add this boot arg to unraid in syslinux, for "Unraid OS" (if you boot unraid with no gui):

video=efifb:off

 

so that it should looks like (or similar, it could be different if you have acs override, just add video=efifb:off):

append initrd=/bzroot video=efifb:off

 

Reboot unraid and try

There's still a thing I'm a bit confused...like you.

The kernel is reporting usb capabilities but no usb port on the back, never seen a thing like this...I wish someone else has an explanation for this...it seems the gpu has the usb controller but lacks the physical port on the back...

Anyway..since the kernel reports usb capabilities that parts must be passed through.

I have this on my RTX2060. I think the controller is on the chip for vr headsets but I guess due to cost they only put physical ports on higher end skus.

I had the same issue, after countless attempts of altering tons of settings on all levels (bios, unraid, vm etc), installing a new windows VM pointing to the same iso/disk (and thus, not have to reinstall windows) simply worked.
