Air Video & iStat Vs. OrbLive & Logmein

Featured Replies

I have used OrbLive & Logmein from my iPhone for a while now.  Both are great solutions, one to stream media, and the other to view my server's statics remotely with a PC on the same network as the server.  Is it really worth the risk to install Air Video & iStat to remove another PC from the loop of me getting the information that I need?  Opinions would be greatly appreciated. TIA.  8)

I created the Airvideo package and while it is a nice application I do not actually use it.  I don't see a need to watch content on my iPhone, etc when I have a fully function HTPC in my living room that can play the content at full resolution.

As for iStat, there is a slight problem with it right now not presenting information on a UserShare... if I remember correctly.  I had looked into it a while back but have not had the time to figure out what exactly is going on.  The disk shares can be monitored just fine, just not the UserShares.  If I get some free time I will look into it again and see if I can figure out what is going on... but it might be a little while.

All the work you have done on unMenu packages is greatly appreciated!  I wouldn't have been able to get started using all the cool things that are possible on unRaid without them.  I don't really stream video to my phone, mostly just audio while I am at work. That way I don't have to sync music on my phone.

Hmmm, last time I tried Air Video and iStat it worked perfectly fine on my iPad.
