Is it possible to create an auto backup sync system that keeps older files

Hello, I am currently running nextcloud to sync up data for my company server, but there are times that I find out some data is deleted, but both server and nextcloud synced the data deletion. Therefore, I want to set up a backup system in unraid that keeps multiple older backup files just in case. I want to set up so it keeps weekly and monthly data, and auto replace them as time goes on. I am wondering if there is a docker or plugin that is able to do that?

When you delete a file or folder on site A, it will also be deleted on site B. That is normal behavior for syncing files.

However, the data is not permanently deleted but moved to a trash bin. You can configure the retention period. Read all about it here.

The trash bin is located at /Nextcloud/your_user_name/files_trashbin/files/
