Hello, I have made maybe 10 VMS in the last 3 or 4 years on this unraid server, and this new VM for some reason crapped its self and I cant find anything to help me out. I created a win 10 VM using VNC did updates and drivers yadda yadda then decided ok everything is good let me apply the GPU Dump and pass through my GPU like always. the screen went black  the VM started I assume then nothing I had to hard shut down. once back up when I goto the vm tab its blank, when I open up settings>VM  Manger Blank, and when I shut down it says system shutdown but never actually turns off the machine. I always see people requesting for DIAG pages but I have no idea where they are or what im looking at in there. I also tried to figure out if I can see the VM Manger in the terminal but couldnt find any any help with that either.... and go!

My reply was because you had posted syslog instead of diagnostics. I deleted my reply when you posted diagnostics.

Not obviously related but why do you have 75G docker.img? Have you had problems filling it? 20G is usually more than enough.

if you have a chat like discord Id love some 1st hand knowledge of what to look for in there if you have time?

im sure there is alot of old confusing stuff floating around in my unraid..... I dont have anyone I know that can really help me out with it to see what issues I have or little tweeks like that lol

and where are you seeing that

There is a discord but I don't use it. You may need to have some patience since there are a lot of users and we are all volunteers helping other users when we have time (and if we can, each of us may not know how to help with everything.)

According to those diagnostics (system/df.txt) libvirt.img is mounted. Are you still not able to access anything on the VM page?

  • Author

Yeah everything is blank in the VM page and the VM Manager page. how do I get it unmounted?

If libvirt.img wasn't mounted for some reason then that would explain why VM page wasn't working.

Not sure if this will be any help

So how do I get it to mount?
