UNRAID 6.9.2 HDD recognised by BIOS, appear in disk location but not in unassigned device

Featured Replies

Hi,

Tried to add a pair of new drive to replace failing ones, but they won't show up in unassigned device.

Strangely enough they appear in lsblk :

sdq     65:0    0   7.3T  0 disk
└─sdq1  65:1    0   7.3T  0 part
sdr     65:16   0   3.6T  0 disk
└─sdr1  65:17   0   3.6T

they appear in "disk location" too.

As they are Western Digital MyBook that I schunked, tried to cover the 3.3V line with no result. Tried to put them in another tray, same diagnistic.

They work in others computer, can format them just fine and can't find any error in SMART.

If someone have any idea, would gladly take it.

Thanks in advance.

These are disks 5 and 10:

Sep 25 14:45:03 Yggdrasil kernel: md: import disk5: (sdr) WDC_WD40EFRX-68WT0N0_WD-WCC4E1467225 size: 3907018532

What controller are the missing disks connected to? Also post a photo of them being detected in the BIOS.
