[EXPIRED] Newegg = $25 off $100 for "new" customers

Featured Replies

Use promocode NEWGEEK25 for 25 off $100 (New account only)

People are reporting that the check is only against email addresses, not physical addresses, so if you use another email address you are considered a "new" customer.

Deal expires 11.59pm PST on 3/31/11, so hurry!

----EDIT----

Deal has expired - hope you all enjoy your good deals!

I used this 2 weeks ago as a "new customer"....which allowed me to purchase another hard drive without too much household grief!;D

ooooooh! can we use this with any current deals? any 2tb drives on sale? hmmmmmm  ;D

Last night I bought a 5in3 cage and a micro USB cable for $89 shipped, normally $106 shipped for the cage alone due to no free shipping. I also snagged a 2xPCIeX16 + Sempron 140 for $84 shipped :D A Trendnet GREENnet switch for $30 plus one of those $75/$80 hard drives would be a great deal too. I still need a PSU and RAM, but the PSU's I want are all OOS and the RAM is always $21 shipped.

Just an FYI, two Hitachi 5K3000 drives are only $52 each after rebate (max 2 rebates per household).

How do you get to $52?

My math is:

$74.99 - $10 rebate = $64.99

Because your math isn't for two of them ;)

75x2 = 150-25-20 = 105.

I just purchased a Zacate MB for my HTPC.  Got the $25 off with my "new" account.  ;D

Now I'm considering getting 2 of the 5k3000 drives.  I don't really need the space but with the new user discount the drives would be $52.50 AR.  That's a pretty good price for a 2TB drive.  It would be a long time before I probably ever saw a deal like that again.  Hmm...I need to think about this one a little more.

Same "dilemma" - an Asus RT-N56U wireless router or (2) Hitachi drives....decisions-decisions.

If I hadn't already bought one a few weeks ago I'd jump on that deal, but it's a max of 2 rebates per household.

Ha!  I forgot the $25... what a turkey I am!!

Just pulled the trigger on two 5k3000 drives.  Next up on my little tech shopping spree - should I get an SSD for my HTPC?

Happens to the best of us ;)

I couldn't help it, I ordered another 5K3000 drive and 2x1GB DDR3 RAM for my build. $65AR for a 2TB drive + 2GB RAM is pretty good in my book :)

Jumped in too---2 more 2TB drives.  Time to start replacing the few 1.5 7.2k's still in there.  Thanks OP!

Replacing 1.5T with 2T? Even at $50, that means you are spending $100/T.  Ouch!

Thanks OP!  Snagged a spare WD20EARS along with an external enclosure that I've been eyeing for a few weeks.

Awesome find!!!

Just bought myself a second Supermicro card with the code plus a $10 promotional card they sent to me. Total was $81 shipped!

Great find !!

I just picked up 2 16GB SSD for $59.99 each, so after discount comes to $47.49 each.  I always wanted to try a SSD in my HTPC and MAME machine, so hopefully it works out.

I ended up picking up three sticks of Kingston 4GB DDR3 for a total of $100.97!  That's awesome!

Ive been doing that because I don't trust my Seagate 1.5GB's any more.  Ive got two left in my unRAID, but they will be gone soon.

Did anyone happen to download the Hitachi rebate from Newegg the past few days? It's not on their site anymore and I forgot to grab it.

You can find the forms here.

Thanks! It had a different offer number than last month's drive rebate, so I could've gotten two drives after all. Oh well, I'll know for next time.
