UNRAID becoming unresponsive

Featured Replies

Randomly, my server becomes unresponsive. I can not login in, or pull any info up. I must hold down the power button on my server to shut it down. Once I turn it back in it boots normally. There is no information in the logs. I've attached my diagnostic files.

The system is a Z390 + i5-9600k, 650w EVGA Bronze PSU, (5) HDD's on a HBA 9211, (2) NVME for Cache.

Any help is appreciated.

Enable syslog server and post that log after a crash.

Here you go.

Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged before the crash:

Oct 24 16:00:04 StormfatherUnR root: mover: finished
Oct 24 16:24:42 StormfatherUnR kernel: microcode: microcode updated early to revision 0xde, date = 2020-05-24

This usually indicates a hardware issue, one thing you can try it to boot the server in safe mode with all docker/VMs disable, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.
