New upgraded build, will not boot from USB

Featured Replies

Ok, so I have server that I'm now exchanging for a new one and moving all the drives to that. Problem is that the new machine won't boot from the USB that I have been using. It boots fine to a windows 10/11 install usb and the internal drive, but not to the Unraid USB. I tried running the make bootable .exe file on the drive, but to difference. I also tried all the different USB ports on the back with reboots inbetween.

Specs of new server: Aorus B460 PRO AC, Intel i9 10850K, 16GB Corsair 3200 MHz DDR4

There isn't a lot of setting for boot on the motherboard, but I tried

Fast boot on and off

Secure boot is off

CFG Lock on and off

The usb boots fine in the old server still. Also tried a different brand new Unraid usb, and that did not work either

Hope someone can help!

rename the "EFI-" directory on the flash to just "EFI"
