gisxer
My unRAID was damaged by a flood. After getting some great advice in another thread, I think it's mostly a lost cause for most of the hardware. I have 11 data drives and the parity drive which I need to get back online asap and see if any of the disks were damaged. I'm thinking I could just use my desktop PC components and move them into the sever case that I have. But I'm not sure if it will work. So 1, will unraid run on these parts and 2 is it a good long term solution. Meaning, could I keep all those components in the unraid and rebuild the Windows machine. I can probably get work to pay for the new PC components, so I have that going for me. Here is my current Windows desktop https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xTkHwz Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
You would need to add an HBA to support all your drives. Quote Link to comment

I have one of these in the unRAID that should still work. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002KGLDXU? Any other tests I should run ? Quote Link to comment
