Motherboard/CPU recommendation with NVMe 4.0 and NVMe 3.0

Recommended Posts

Hi,

What motherboard/CPU would you recommend with the following specs:

Mobo #1:

  • 1 or 2 NVMe 4.0 m.2 (I really whish it'd have 2)
  • Rocket lake Xeon processor with 8 cores 16 threads and with Intel Graphics.

Mobo #2:

  • At least 2 NVMe 3.0 m.2
  • A Xeon processor as recent as possible with 8 cores 16 threads and with Intel Graphics.

I'd like the Intel graphics integrated so I'll be able to do some video encoding.

Mobo #1 would be my first choice since I'd rather pay more and have a faster SSD.

Found this so far: The Supermicro X12SCA-5F and Supermicro X12SAE-5. They're mostly the same except the X12SCA-5F has IPMI. They have one Pci-e 4.0 NVMe M.2, two Pci-e 3.0 M.2, 128GB RAM, 4 SATA3, 2 PCI-E 4.0 x16 slots (which could be used to add more NVMe SSDs), one gigabit LAN, one 2.5 gigabit LAN, USB 3.2 Gen2x2.
