October 12, 20214 yr A new CA Release is here! Also, we wanted to spotlight some hidden gems of CA and after some great community-sourced ideas here and via reddit, we've put together a nice list: https://unraid.net/blog/new-community-applications-release Did we miss any lesser-known apps, containers, and plugins you are running that you think more users need to know about?
October 13, 20214 yr Disk Location by Ole-Henrik Jakobsen. Absolutely fantastic for my 24 bay chassis and love the overview and utility it provides. Then again I use a lot of great plug ins provided by the community and that is what makes UNRAID so great. Feels bad to not mention all of them.
October 13, 20214 yr iSCSI plugin for Unraid Server, which allows you to connect to storage on your NAS like it was a local hard drive. A still a lot of people don't seem to know this plugin exists and I still see iSCSI asked for in feature requests frequently.
October 13, 20214 yr Recycle bin (for SMB shares). Great fail safe for accidental deletions on network shares
November 1, 20214 yr I wish you could install from the results page like before instead of having to click on the app first and then click install.

Very unlikely, since that was largely meaningless (except for plugins) as in this day and age with containers that automatically get built as new app versions come available, or rain or shine every Friday it was extremely rare for any template to ever get updated by the maintainer that the container was updated.
November 1, 20214 yr Is it possible to check the update of the docker in combinaison with the template date ? Too costly maybe.
November 1, 20214 yr No matter what, it would be the usual suspects always showing up. Netdata has an update issued to the container multiple times a day 365 days a year Most of the common containers would also be "permanently" stuck in updated apps simply because of how and when updates get issued to them.
March 6, 20224 yr I'm surprised that 'Obsidian' hasn't been mentioned yet. I've been expanding my use of Unraid and this is the perfect progression and something that could easily offer daily functionality. Not to mention it's finally gotten a big kick in uptake from Level1Techs. https://obsidian.md/
