Seagate Ironwolf 8tb drives getting disabled by unraid

Featured Replies

Hi,

I haven't had much luck getting to the bottom of my issue.

Currently I have 4x 8TB ironwolve drives in my set up.

Over a week or two unraid will disable one or more of these 8tbs. one of the drives (Drive 5) seems to be continually doing it, even after moving what bay it is located in.

But I occasionally have one of the other 8tbs disable too.

I have pulled the drives, connected to windows to check smart with no issues.

Stopping the array, clearing the partition with unassigned devices and then remounting the drives rebuilds them with no issues. then they work fine for a week or two.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. even what to start looking into.

Thank you
