[Support] - Lomorage - Photo Backup/Management App

Featured Replies

I'm having difficulty getting the backup to start from my Android device.

I've installed and configured the container on my unraid server.

I've created a user and can see the Lomorage instance from the Android app.

I've successfully logged in and connected to the Lomarage instance from the Android app.

On my phone it says x assests needed to backup. Drag down to start.

I pull down and the circle spins but it doesn't look like any data has been sent or any photos backed up.

  • @Berti @ExXxtr3me @Anadoliev We can reproduce the issue. There is one workaround, but it is a little complex. We plan to combine the web app and backend, so that it is easier to configure. Please stay

  • You can skip 8001 port now since we have combine web server and backend. So only one port is enough. I'll update installation guide.

possible to send the feedback via Android App: Setting-》send feedback, it will attach the log to the developer.

I need to use different ports as 8000 and 8001 are already in use. If I understand correctly I can change 8000 in PostArgs: but what about 8001, also do I understand correctly?

From setting in lomorage android application, you can select send logs, then we check what happened.

I send log. Thanks for suport and software.

I'm not able to login with the user I created on my Android app. Uploading and synching works fine, but I can't access anything on desktop. I do get to the login promot, but hitting submit does nothing in my case. Anyone else experienced this?

Ahh!! I checked the dev options in Chrome and it seems the script to login was blocked by my ad-blocker :) Now disabled and it's working! -note to self- don't use adblockers on local host :D

1. For the duplicate images, can you check their SHA1 and see if they are same?
2. Are these duplicate images mainly apple live photos?

Seems like 20180510_10186.jpg is newly imported, guess it was imported via lomoc tool. Are you able to locate original files? If yes, can you please check its sha1sum?

could you try to go to your phone's setting to check the Lomorage app can access the location?

From my testing, the lomorage app will read the picture as binary data to upload to the server.

Maybe there is some hooking on the system level to remove the GPS info for the privacy concern.  Like in my phone with default Gallery app, if this app does not has location access permission, even the pictures do has the GPS data, but share from this default Gallery app, the picture's GPS will be removed.

So could you double check the phone's location permission manager?

before i have synchronized always with foldersync, the app also has no special access rights on the location
nevertheless the pictures then have no gps data on the nas

let me understand,

using folderSync app to upload  photo to nas, these pictures also have no GPS data ?

Just setup Lomorage on a iphone 14Pro sending photos to Lomorage on Unraid 6.10. Setup was flawless., it was transfering the photos very fast 2000 photos in 20min but then it slows way down and now 5 photos avg about 10 - 14mins. Not sure why it slowing down, might be a  queue full etc or AI running on the transfered photos.  I stopped docker and restart Lomorage and the app as well as reboot phone. Still transfer very slow. I am on my home network, I notice the logs had alot of metadata events running.  I left for two hours came back and open the app and it started transfering photos very fast and seems to slow down after about 2000 photos transfered. Trying to figure out it there is an issue or . Is there a setting to adjust. or if this is an issue and will not have to deal with it after everything is transfered. Is anything I can do to get it to speed up transfering files. Thanks in Advance

Is there a setting, that I'm missing, that will delete photos from the gallery on UnRAID if you delete them from the Lomorage Android app? Sometimes I take several pictures and then need to get rid of the not so great ones at a later time, but after the sync has happened.

Also, is there a way to select multiple photos from the web GUI, for deletion?

@HulkingFist You should be able to select unwanted photos and delete through Lomorage android app. When you select, you can choose to delete from local or remote or both. But if you don’t delete locally, next back up will upload again. Let me know if you have other questions

@DwebFwhen I choose local and remote when emptying the trash, the image is still showing in my gallery via the webpage. Is that as expected?
