Gui Safe Mode, but that's it

Featured Replies

I can boot my system into GUI safe mode, but not regular mode. I do see the dashboard and everything.

With regular mode I just get a blinking cursor instead of the login screen.

As a result, I can't reach the system through the network and have to connect locally.

I konw I should run a diagnostic and post, but I am not sure where the file will be saved to.

Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Update- last message before it goes to the blinking cursor is - “Can’t insert nvidia”

RESOLVED

Went in and deleted the Nvidia driver plug-in. Now GUI works again.
