youtub_dl suddenly broken

Featured Replies

Been running youtube-dl for years and suddenly have a problem. If anyone can advise what packages I'm missing, it would be greatly appreciated.

You should probably ask in the support thread of the docker.

I'm not running it as a docker.

Then how are you running it?

I run it directly from unraid. I'm a 15 year user and had many things set up way before docker or nerd tools existed.

Don't take this the wrong way, but in that case you're also responsible to sort out the dependency hell imposed by that.  Not sure if anyone here would know the answers, and the suggestion would be to run it as a container.

Not taken the wrong way. Will seek help from the youtube-dl folks

For the curious... I installed youtube-dl via pip and it works...
