So coming off a Synology 1813+ w/ DX513 external array, moving to this setup. Intel NUC11PHKi7C Phantom Canyon / 64GB / 2x512gb NVME / using Thunderbolt to 1x OWC Thunderbay8 w/ 8x 8TB. Not sure if it's the right move, but pulled the trigger anyway over the weekend.

Been reading the forum.  Looks like I will be using 6.10 to get the USB4_Thunderbolt Support.

Looking forward moving off the proprietary solution, but nervous. Purchased the Syno on Feb 14, 2014 , so needless to say, I've been using it for quite sometime and comfortable with it.

Created a profile photo of my setup to include on the Dashboard. ;)

So freakin fast.. crazy.. time to upgrade to 10gbs for the network. Prolly have to update to 6.10 as well.

Update: First memory sticks , one of them fried upon power up. Replacements arrived, and everything seemed to pass Memtest86. So pretty pleased about that.

10gbe Thunderbolt enroute from OWC. Looking at QNAP 8-combo+4sfp port 10gbe switch, however, sounds like it's not as 'managed' as it's let on to be believed. Still deciding 10gbe backbone primary.

Again, this is to stay in the 'toaster' format.. in progress of moving off the Synology 1813+.   Using 2x 14TB shucked WD from BB as life raft to migrate. working well so far. another 12 hours to go to complete that process.

Using Docker containers and the methodoly is crazy NIOCE !!!

Unraid Pro license installed. That was a simple process to spend $129. lol

Thunderbolt 10gbe interface from OWC. or similar is in the queue :)
