Enabling IOMMU puts drives into IOMMU groups and array is unreachable by UnRaid.

Featured Replies

Was going to try passing through a video card and enabled IOMMU. Doing so puts the devices for the Array in an IOMMU group and makes the array unreachable by Unraid.

I am guessing in order or me to enable IOMMU I will have to manually move the drives out of IOMMU, or map the array to the new location?

Can anyone help with how to configure this? I have searched for docs on this, but my google foo doesnt seem to be strong enough.

Try one of the ACS override options in VM Settings

I tried to find ACS in VM Settings, but if I am understanding this, I wont have this setting to change if I am not running a VM. I am actually not running any VMs.

Then why enable IOMMU?   if you're not going to be running a VM there's no point.

I was afraid of that reply. So I can pass through the GPU without the use of IOMMU to Emby without the use of IOMMU?

Thanks for your help.

You don't passthrough a graphic card to a Docker container, you simply give access to the component.
