Hi there,

i am trying to build a home theatre media server using unRaid.

Because the server dosn't need to run all day (electrical power is expensive nowadays) i would like to only wake it up via WOL if it is needed by a client, and if the last client disconnects the server should also go to sleep after 30min or so.

 

But because i would like to use it in combination with my HTPC i would like to now how much time it normally takes till the server is online after the WOL command.

    My server takes less than ten seconds to start serving data, from S3 sleep state - little more than the time it takes for disks to spin up.
