Connecting new poweredge R610 build with old unraid server

Featured Replies

I just picked up a Dell Poweredge R610 with 2 - 6Core Xeon 3.06 GHz processors with 72GB Ram along with 6 - 900 GB disks. My current build is using an AMD FX 6 core 3.5 GHz processor w/16 GB Ram. I have a 1 TB cache drive, 4TB parity drive and 4 - 1TB storage drives. I use my server mostly for Plex but I am doing more home automation and I have had some lagging issues with Plex. The R610 uses 2.5 inch drives which I will upgrade to 2 TD drives at a later date but right now I am looking for suggestions on how I can use the R610 as the main processor and use my old setup as storage.
