App data transfer to new disk

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

I would like to change the disk where I save the applications data.... Any considerations to take into account, do I just clone the disk and that's it?

Sorry if these are newbie questions.... I am looking forward to keep learning from this community.

Thank you!

Do you just mean you want to move your appdata user share to another disk? Or is it something more complicated? In any case, I can't imagine how cloning would be involved.

Initially I chose a 1TB M.2 NVMe, but I have realized that for the use I give it I don't need such a big disk... I was planning to change it for a 128GB one.

In the "Main" tab I have this disk assigned to "Apps". Where I barely have 3MB occupied...

Perhaps I am not understanding well the operation of the disk assigned to "Apps"? The ultimate goal is for me to be able to swap out the 1TB disk for a smaller one and have my Docker containers and such remain unchanged...

Thank you very much for your patience.

P.S. I attach the diagnostic file.

Edit: con la licencia básica de Unraid y con los dos espacios de M.2 de mi placa base, no sería capaz de conectar más discos.
