question with regard to dockers

Newbie question here, if I install a pihole docker running rsync and keepalived will the config stick after Container update or will have to redo everything again?

 

other question, for now I have 2 adguard home setup with adguardhome-sync. is there a way to set them as fail over ? using keepalibed docker or something? if so anybody know how?

 

hole point if to have the 2 ad blocker not run at the same time but have one take over just if primary goes down.
