Hi there

I am starting a new UnRAID server. Should I use 4.7 or 5.0b6? any major instabilities with 5.0b6 that might overcome the improvements ?

thanks

Only issues have been from those upgrading from older versions of unRAID.  You should be fine on 5.0beta6a.

I've been using 5.0beta6 on my new array for a couple weeks now and there are no issues at all. I started from scratch and had zero issues.

I've been using 5.0beta6 since March 1, as an upgrade from 4.7 (from 4.6, from 4.5) and, apart from a couple of oddities with some of the user option settings (requiring a reboot to enable the options as set), I've had zero problems.  This system is serving video files for several hours each day.

5.0 is so much better than 4.x that it would take a very serious problem to get me to downgrade.

5.0 really is better than 4.7...

I'm loving it..

thanks

hey,

I just upgrade to 5.06b beta from 4.7 (been runing on 4.7 for about oh..23 hours. give or take a few). Finnally understand the simple concept of the user share and split level.

I'm still on my test bed and basic unRaid.

first problem is access denied to user share directory. But I got through it by setting permisssion in util tab

So every thing seem ok at this time. :)
