November 14, 20214 yr Solution Hello , After powering off ,i'm unable to login and getting a message REBOOT AND SELECT PROPER BOOT DEVICE . I'm using old unraid version from 2015 and i don't have flash backup . I have the unRAID Server Plus registration key. Can someone guide me how to get my server back up and running . November 14, 20214 yr 1 Double check the boot order in the BIOS 2 Put the flash drive into a regular windows box, and run the file system checks on it. 3 Make a backup of the flash drive 4 Re-run MAKE_BOOTABLE.BAT as administrator 5 Try it again. 6 If no dice, then set up a new flash drive copy over the contents of /config from your backup and boot with it.
January 31, 20233 yr Having the same issue. Tried reloading flash drive and a new flash drive. No dice. Even tried to put in a windows boot USB and that didnt come up either. Unraid is up to date.

Your registration key will be valid for both versions, but we would need to know which one you were using as v5 was 32 bit and v6 is 64 bit.

Have you tried formatting the flash drive and making it bootable using Rufus and then copying the Unraid release onto it? This seems to help some people.
