Whaler_99
Just wondering... About to do a new build with the following mobo, BIOSTAR TA870U3+ AM3 AMD 870, and wondering whether I should set all the ports to IDE mode or AHCI. I know by default v5 disk settings have for NCQ disable set to yes, so that might take away one of the advantages of AHCI. The IDE mode is more compatable, stable? Just wondering if it worth trying to build the system with AHCI mode enabled? Will it make that big of performance improvement, if any? Thanks, Shawn Link to comment
