Hi there,

 

I was running my Win VM for a couple of months without any problem.

Two weeks ago I moved to a new home and after that, I dont get any video output on the HDMI of my GPU (Nvidia RTX 2060 Super)

Due to my less usage of my VM (only for gaming) I cant say, if my movement to a new home has anything to do with that.

 

The strange thing (for me) is, that I'm still able to connect to my VM via RDP. No problems there and as far as I can see, system manager also seems to be normal. (see screenshots).

 

But when I change my monitor input from my Mac (HDMI Port 1 on my LG screen) to the VM (HDMI Port 2 on my LG screen) there is no video output. In past this works flawlessly allow me to direct use the vm as a gaming pc. 

Sure I also used different HDMI cables - sadly thats not the problem.

SOLVED

Ok - my fault. I also switched to a new LG gaming screen and - not sure why - I have to enable the "HDMI Compatibility Mode".

After this change, I get a video output and everythings fine.
