JayJ
Hi, I'm having trouble figuring out why my NVME cache speed never seems to get over 80MB/s read or write speeds. I 've got a Crucial 500GB drive set up as a cache that I'm primarily using to store my VM images on. For example, right now I'm transferring 9GB of files from one virtual drive to another that are both on the NVME cache and its taken over 30 mins and is averaging around 15MB/s. They're both mapped directly via /mnt/nvme_cache/domains/... I get the same kind of speeds if I transfer files from array or another cache to this drive. Also, if I do a /mnt/nvme_cache cp via command line I get similar speeds (I'm trying to bypass shfs to see if that's an issue). Any ideas as to how to diagnose/trouble shoot this issue as I'm at a loss as to where to start looking! Thanks! diagnostics-20211119-1350.zip Quote Link to comment
rallos_hoo
My PM1733 only can reach 800M/s in the disk speed test🤣 as a cache pool disk. Quote Link to comment
planetwilson
Did you ever get to the bottom of this? Quote Link to comment
