Nov 26 12:30:20 Tower kernel: BTRFS info (device sdd1): bdev /dev/sdc1 errs: wr 16237, rd 3917, flush 700, corrupt 0, gen 0

These errors suggest device sdc dropped offline in the past, you should run a correcting scrub and make sure all errors were corrected, also see here for better pool monitoring.

I checked and got this after doing a scrub.  Is there a way to clear these stats to see if I'm getting new errors?

[/dev/sdd1].write_io_errs    0
[/dev/sdd1].read_io_errs     0
[/dev/sdd1].flush_io_errs    0
[/dev/sdd1].corruption_errs  0
[/dev/sdd1].generation_errs  0
[/dev/sdc1].write_io_errs    16237
[/dev/sdc1].read_io_errs     3917
[/dev/sdc1].flush_io_errs    700
[/dev/sdc1].corruption_errs  772
[/dev/sdc1].generation_errs  2
