April 11, 201115 yr I am a bit confused, I have a new registration key, the email says to drag the key into the config folder. Drag from where how? Do I put it in a word doc then drag to config? Or do I copy it from the email then paste it into the config folder? Seems simple enough but I am missing this. I tried looking in the forum but did not find anything specific. Thanks for the help. Camel
April 11, 201115 yr Save the key attachment item as a file. Copy the file to your USB /config folder.
April 11, 201115 yr Author I save the key as a RTF and copied it to the config folder. I rebooted and it still says unregistered. What should I check for? Thanks. Though, the correct key does show...is that acceptable? thanks again, camel
April 11, 201115 yr You should have received an email with a .key file attached... mine was called "Pro.key" You put that file in you /boot/config/ folder (don't do anything else to it) and then reboot the server.

You should be able to save the attachment without having to select any format. What is the file named?

Camel What OS / mail reader are you using? Normally you can right click on an attachment and select "Save As ...". If you can do that, save as "//tower/flash/config/Pro.key". Then shutdown, reboot, and see if it comes up correctly.
April 11, 201115 yr Or save as "//tower/flash/config/Plus.key" if that was its name. Do not change the name of the key from that of the file as attached to the email. And if you are using Windows, the slashes will be backslashes - so in Explorer you would use the path "\\tower\flash\config\Pro.key" for example.
April 11, 201115 yr Author I did not realize the key was attached. I downloaded to a local folder and dragged to the flash config file. I went back to the email, didn't see the attachment at first, I guess I was confused because I saw the key number in the email and thought I had to use that number to install manually somewhere in the config folder. But all is good now. I see all the disks and it is registered to me. I miss the obvious sometimes. Thanks for all the replies and help. ps: I still try to add [solved] to my subject but it never shows in the actual post. I see it in the preview-not sure what the problem is...
