Yet another "All SSD question"

Featured Replies

I recently started testing Unraid and installed it on my SuperMicro E200-8D server, I have a mix of Samsung EVO 840 and 850's SSD drives and a Samsung 960 Pro nvme disk in it..
I configured the array with the  Nvme drive for Parity and the 6 SSD drives in the Array.

This has been running fine for a few weeks... Then I started reading about issues with TRIM and Parity on all SSD/NVME arrays. and I am wondering what is the best way to configure my drives for optimal performance/reliability. I have read some have gone and used ZFS, but would like some input before I go off on a tangent trying to get that to work :)
