(SOLVED) Can I copy directly from a Drive?

Featured Replies

I have a 27 TB Movie Collection and I was hoping that there was a faster way to copy files directly from disc? Am I able to temporarily connect a HDD from one device, which is just all movies and plug it in as an Unassigned Drive and just copy all content directly from that?

I ask this because I have been using SMB share transferring and it randomly stops after about 15 minutes, requiring me to manually continue the copy proceedure. Of course the amount of hours with only copying at 180 MB/s and until I get my new cables, I cannot copy any faster. I usually have someone who does the copying for me, but I think it's time I learnt to handle it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Depends on the filesystem used, UD plugin lists the supported ones.
