DESCRIPTION

Fast and easy-to-use webmail front-end for your existing IMAP mail server, Plesk or cPanel.

 

NOTES

• On first launch, go to 'ip_host:port/adminpanel' and enter the default credentials: superadmin/-empty- (user/pass). Here you will have to configure all the required things to start working with your mail provider(s).
• There's no need to configure an external DB service (integrated), but you can: MySQL/MariaDB.

• The Pro version is just a dockerized installation, so it will still require a licence key to be purchased from the web. (30 days trial period)

If you are going to report a bug or request something to be added/modified, please, take into consideration that I will only be able to apply changes for the work I own only. any help setting this up?

 

Tried using Network type bridge and port 80 and template install fails (even though I have noting on port 80) if i change the port number and try and start the container i get a server error. if i change to network type host then webui just redirects to unraid.

Hi @enigma27,

 

I just needed to change the port to anything else. For example, I used the following during the template creation: 2222 (free on my server).

Also, I didn't change the network type. I left it as default: bridged.

 

What's the error shown when the cmd fails?

Managed to fix... must have changed the port to something I could see as already allocated

im guessing the pro version still requires a paid licence to operate?

The reply from the customer support of the platform:

 

WebMail Pro is a commercial software and requires purchasing a license if you wish to keep using it after 30-day trial. Using a Docker image is just one of the installation methods available for the product.

 

So, yes. Hope it solves your doubt.

Giving this a try.

Set up a mail server and set credentials for it but when I try and login to the webmail front end it just constantly says email or password is incorrect.

 

I then tried to set up a user as it had not made this automatically and still have the same issue.

Ignore me... For some reason everything has to be specific for the login to even work. Once I ticked SSL in the mail server settings it let me login to the webmail.

Stumbled on this after getting my own webmail lite working and wanting a pro one... I must not have searched properly the first time.

I see you haven't "volume" the /data/settings for easier accessing the config or modules files (https://afterlogic.com/docs/webmail-pro-8/configuring-webmail/advanced-configuration)

I am wondering how your accessing /data or where it is situated within the docker as within the console I can't seem to find/access it.

the db connection to db:3306 is not possible at all.

there is no volume mapping so every config gets lost after a restart

plz fix that

Yes, you need to go to the "adminpanel endpoint" by adding /adminpanel to webui URL

Hi, i cant send mail from the interface, when i try i got the error:

"(501 HELO requires valid address)"

i have a local mail server with the IP: 192.x.x.100 only for backup, and i want to use the SMTP of ARUBA.IT to send (smtps.aruba.it port 456 ssl enabled).

I've already try to setup correcly the IMAP of aruba (imaps.aruba.it), but after the access i cant still send mail: Any Idea?

Got the image up and running, and it like it so far. One question, is there a possibility of adding something like a mapped /config or something to the docker image so that config changes get saved? Whenever I need to restart, I have to set it up again.

I'm getting this error, for fortunatley it's just the icon, broken link I guess.

That entire GitHub repository was deleted by the maintainer / author, so what you're seeing is correct and to be expected (and also why the apps are no longer within Apps).  Use a different URL.
