December 4, 20214 yr I have 2 2TB sas drives in an array with an H310 mini in IT mode. The two drives are Seagate ST32000444SS drives and refuse to give out any SMART data at all. I've looked all over the internet and found that someone with an sas Seagate drive discovered a firmware issue with the drive resulting in the smart data pages (something like that) not being provided. They created a workaround on smartmontools and this was included with version 6.5. Does anyone know if I should try to update the firmware on the drive or try something else?
