Web GUI no longer responsive after replacing a data drive with a bigger one

Hi,

 

I just replaced a 500G data drive with a 2T drive. The web GUI says "Wrong drive" and I checked the "Yes I want to do this" and clicked "Start" which suppose to "bring the array on-line, start Data-Rebuild, and then expand the file system." But as soon as I clicked "Start", the web GUI became no longer responsive after it says "Spinning up all drives...Start array...Mounting disks..." and no more info available.

 

I also could not connect to the share.

 

The drives are spinning indicating reading/writing, it literally sounds like building data, so I didn't want to disturb by force shut down/restart.

 

I am on v5 b6a plus.

 

Is this normal? Or is this a bug on v5?

    Turns out it took about the time I took to write the post to do all the hard work - it is good now.
