April 13, 201115 yr there is one thing I don't understand why unmenu uses the "-d ata" in every smartctl command ? this breaks everything on my LSI SAS controller... is there a motive to the "-d ata" option that makes it a requirement? I changed my unmenu installation removing every -d ata I found so I can use unmenu's disk utilities with my LSI controller and I found no errors so far...

Feel free to remove them for your needs.
April 17, 201115 yr based on your feedback I'll probably add an option of some kind so you do not need to edit the files yourself. i know it wont be for at least a few weeks, though,so make your changea as needed. Just add a line #AUTO _UPDATE=NO in the files you change and you'll not have them replaced with the original versions if you do an check/install updates. joe L.
