April 13, 201115 yr I've searched the forums but I didn't find the "magic bullet" for my WOL issue. Sorry if I missed the obvious answer, I do that sometimes... One small aside before I begin, OMG I LOVE UNRAID, coolest thing ever. Also, many thanks to the community, and raj for his build guides, they really help noobs like myself. So i enabled wake on lan/usb/keyboard via the bios (I did leave the second option as S1). I then powered down the system from the power button on the box. I downloaded magic packet sender typed in the MAC address, filled out the other fields hit send unraid box wakes right up doh...never mind, figured it out. Guess I was just in a rush to join the unraid community, heh heh when I try to do the same after I shut down via the "power down" command. nuttin... The bios have settings regarding wake up after s4/s5, those are all enabled. What power state does unraid put the server into? please help this poor nublet.
