December 15, 20214 yr Hi. I built unraid server as it should be (from parts laying around in my lab). My question: At the moment I have two 10TB drives, one data and one parity. Is this single parity disk OK for adding another data drives with capacity less than 10TB (e.g. another three 4TB drives). I have spare 0,5TB SSD. Is there any sense adding this as cache drive? This could just fill the 6-drive licence limit Main use is for backups (VMs from homelab, family photos & PCs/laptops). Thanks. Marko
