December 16, 20214 yr I’ve done a bunch of googling and looked at the add pool settings on my server but I’m not finding any documentation on how to specify raid configurations for pools. I found a Space Invader video where he says that pools use BTRFS so that they can support RAID0, RAID1 etc and that the default is RAID1 but the video doesn’t show how to configure this and the setting only asks for a name and number of slots. I’m trying to figure out how to create a RAID0 pool. Where are the pool settings in unRAID 6.9?
December 16, 20214 yr Solution Create the pool with as many drive as you want. Then Balance it to the RAID profile your desire (Select in the dropdown menu and hit Balance).

December 16, 20214 yr Author Where is that drop down menu? I’m guessing it won’t show up until I create the pool?

Not sure why that didn’t show up in my googling. I’m not sure from the screenshot, is that pull down in the pool menu (click the pool name)?

December 17, 20214 yr Author After reading the faq it looks like its ok to add the second disk without losing data on the first disk but I wanted to verify that? Pool was created with 2 slots and btrfs.
