hi all

all of the sudden, my VM is starting in UEFI loader shell. I can type exit and select the right boot device, but i would like this to happen automatically. This means I cannot restart my VM as it hangs if i restart (cant install any video drivers). Also, when I try and shutdown or restart, my unraid CPU goes all 100% on all cores (even the non VM) and it hangs until I Force shutdown., any ideas:

Add boot order line to your passthrough controller with the boot disk attached.

You didn't tell where is your controller so I'm assuming it is at 04:00.0:

Hey do I bind the Controller at PCI Devices and IOMMU Groups? VFIO at boot binding? or leave it unbound?

ok, I got this now below: But it wouldnt start, when I create a new VM, I cannot for some reason select a path for my GPU it comes out empty (see pic)

Edit: changed the machine type to 440fx and got XML error: The PCI controller with index='0' must be model='pci-root' for this machine type, but model='pcie-root' was found instead

i440fx machine type has a totally different template and as the error report it doesn't have any pcie-root port defined.

im getting operation failed: unable to find any master var store for loader: /usr/share/qemu/ovmf-x64/OVMF_CODE-pure-efi.fd
