December 20, 20214 yr Hello together, maybe someone had this issue too. I am currently running v6.9.2 on my box and everything works fine. Now i wanted to try v6.10.0-rc2, but as soon as i update the system and reboot the machine, my USB drive gets blacklisted and i can't start the array. As soon as i downgrade to v6.9.2 everything works fine again. What's the problem? Are there USB drives took out generally? Don't want to buy a new USB stick again. Had to do that for the upgrade from 6.8 to 6.9 for some reason, and i got no clue why. Kind regards, Cordoban

When you used it, it was not blacklisted but now others have tried to register with the same GUID. That GUID is now on the blacklist for 6.10. Another possibility is that the license was transferred to another USB stick/GUID. But you should know if you did that. 😁 You need a USB stick that has a unique GUID. Most "name brand" USB sticks should have this. Generic/less expensive ones often do not. Edited December 20, 20214 yr by Hoopster
December 20, 20214 yr Click on your flash drive from the Main screen and see what is reported for the GUID. If it ends in a string of zeros or just a sequential string of numbers like 1234567890, etc. It is likely a generic GUID.
December 22, 20214 yr Author Good morning, it's a Samsung BAR Plus 32GB with a normal Flash Guid. It was a recommended Stick at that time, because of the metal housing for a better cooling within a server. Edited December 22, 20214 yr by cordoban

December 22, 20214 yr Author It has a unique identifier: And this server was installed last weekend, so the registration is valid with this stick. I didn't transfered it to a new stick. As i said on the current stable version this stick runs fine. Only if i update to the latest version in the Next train, this stick will be blocklisted.
December 22, 20214 yr You should probably contact Lime-tech directly to get this fixed. They’re usually pretty fast to respond. https://unraid.net/contact
February 17, 20224 yr This has just happened to me as well. Running V6.10.0-RC2 for quite sometime and had to replace my failing flash drive. Followed the instructions using the USB Creator tool and copied the original Pro.key to the config folder of the new flash drive after I did the restore via the zip file backup. I was never given the option to replace the key, when i clicked on 'Fix Error' it allowed me to sign in intiallly but now its telling me the new key is blacklisted and I am unable to login to My Servers. I also cannot start unRAID and mount the drives.....this is extremely BETA! I have raised several support emails via several methods suggested to me by the My Servers GUI.....very frustrating! Bought two Kinston DataTraveller Exodia's just in case.....they both have unique GUIDs. I have now installed second Flash drive and have copied the Pro.key to it. The My Servers GUI suggests the key is not eligible for a replacement, even though I have never replaced the original Pro.key. I am thinking the backend is broken at the moment....
