ok i've been doing some further testing

it seems there was a lot of memory used and Cache dirs was not running.

first i reverted the go script in unmenu > config view/edit

removing   /boot/cache_dirs -w   that  I had added manually (in unmenu > config view/edit).  could it be something Invisible upset the syntax, like Enter?

after restarting to try out, no error in the syslog and much less memory used

then I remembered from the configuration tutorial how to add a line to the go script

echo "/boot/cache_dirs -w" >> /boot/config/go

now it seems to do what it is supposed too

I'm not sure If the memory usage is related it could be that overtime more and more memory is used by transmission.

although shutting it down freed less than half the used memory.

for now it seems solved

if anyone could shed some light on editing from unmenu > config view/edit that would be highly apreciated

regards,

heretic
