Featured Replies

Ok so i dont post much as normaly i can do all i need but this i cant work out any help welcome

I was passing though a msi 3090 suprim x without any problems what so ever till thismoring, i turned the vm on but it got stuck at the windows boot screen.

Trouboul shooting so far,

Booted the vm in vnc and ran DDU, booted back up with passthough untill drivers reinstalled then same again

Set 3090 as second gpu and vnc as 1st, got into windows screen and code 43 even though using latest drivers

Tried gpu in Ubuntu vm. Working fine

Ran DDU again and tried each driver since v465. No change still cant use the card in vm

Tried the other 2 gpu's that are already in server (asus gt 710 2GB cpie 1x cards) worked fine

Swapped out 3090 for a 1060 3gb i had laying around. Worked perfect

Tested 3090 in another PC. Workinf perfect

Refitted 3090 to the server, and im back to where i started

I was using this 3090 for a good wile in my server without any problems the vm is used to watch tv in my livingroom it has never even been gamed on  or been uput under any form of load.

There has to be something i'm missing.

Thank you in advance
