How do I give my Nvidia shield write access to a share?

I have my unraid server mapped to the shield and I'm running an app that I'd like to save files to a share, but it fails every time. I assume this is because the shield doesn't have write access, but I'm not sure how to confirm or fix this.

here's the folder in question:

drwxrwxrwx+ 1 nobody users     4096 Dec 26 10:13 saves/

my windows computer has no issues writing to it
