December 31, 20214 yr Just got pfSense configured for my home to include a seperate VPN network. I have two nics on machine, 10G to "open" network and 1g to VPN network. A couple of docker containers connect thru VPN and unraid on open. I thought I did something in pfSense but I am able to access all shares on my PC (unraid and truenas) I can search for shares in unraid and see them on both my windows PC and Truenas VM (all on Open network). when I try mount any shares external to unraid they try and don't. I can mount an internal unassigned drive. any help appreciated.

December 31, 20214 yr Author thanks for the reply squid. I did get unraid to mount windows shares on both truenas and PC after a complete shutdown, now just nfs shares having issues on truenas so I am going to look at it today. I post results tomorrow.

December 31, 20214 yr Dec 31 09:54:14 Tower unassigned.devices: Error: Device '172.27.9.81:/mnt/Skywalker/bkup' mount point '172.27.9.81_bkup' - name is reserved, used in the array or by an unassigned device.
December 31, 20214 yr Author Thank you for this, especially on new years eve day. Now my next question is how I repair this..... I was forced to do a hard reset on the box because truenas had stopped and drives were still mounted, so I am gathering there is a "ghost" mount point being used I have rebooted normally but it still has these remnants.
December 31, 20214 yr Remove the historical devices from UD. If that fails, post in the UD thread with your diagnostics
January 7, 20224 yr Author Solution Finally got it to work... I had to do a fresh install of TruNas to fix it
