hello 

 

i have 2 ethernet ports on my motherboard, i want to use one for pfsense, im suppose to turn off one of the ports to use it as WAN i think..

but i ran into a problem, both ports use same device id :(

That's not a problem, unraid will take care to attach to vfio the device considering both vendor/device id AND bus:type.function (just put a tick next to what you want to pass and reboot unraid).

Then, when passed through to a vm, you will pass it through by specifying the bus:type.function.

no, that's the old method.

Put a tick next to the device as per your screenshot, as I wrote.

If you pass the wrong device you can still modify the vfio config from your config folder of the usb drive.
