January 1, 20224 yr hello i have 2 ethernet ports on my motherboard, i want to use one for pfsense, im suppose to turn off one of the ports to use it as WAN i think.. but i ran into a problem, both ports use same device id

Then, when passed through to a vm, you will pass it through by specifying the bus:type.function. Edited January 1, 20224 yr by ghost82
January 1, 20224 yr no, that's the old method. Put a tick next to the device as per your screenshot, as I wrote. If you pass the wrong device you can still modify the vfio config from your config folder of the usb drive.
