January 1, 20224 yr Hello, I'm new to using Unraid and am just wrapping up the hardware side of the build but wanted to get a head start on the configuration side. I'd like to use it as a HTPC, Arma Server as well as housing a Plex library. The unit itself will be located in the bonus room and tied to a TV to allow for gaming off the VM when needed. The Arma server i'd like to be able to remotely manage from my primary desktop. Hardware: 2700x RX570 x570 Aorus Pro 32gb Ram (2x16) 5x 4gb 3.5" drives 1x NVME 500GB I'd like to priortize the 3.5" drives for the plex/nas side of things and allow the VM & Arma server to share the NVME. Should i get a raid card to handle the 3.5" drives or wait until i run out of ports on the MB? Thanks for your help and guidance.
