April 19, 201115 yr I had to send back my last board with side-facing sATA ports due to clearances. And most cases are similar, so unless you're in a huge case like a Norco, the side-facing ports might not work well.

And most cases are similar, so unless you're in a huge case like a Norco, the side-facing ports might not work well. It's working in an AZZA Helios 910 with Icy Docks. Why these motherboard companies come up with goofy stuff like this when it's not necessary is a mystery. But the board is worth working around the two 90 degree ports.
