January 5, 20224 yr Hello All, I am trying to replace a drive that died. I removed the dead drive. Loaded the new drive. Choose the new drive and I get error: Wrong so I choose no device and or the new drive and reboot hoping it flushes the info on the old drive so I can pick the new drive and rebuild array. It still states it's Missing? I cannot seem to get rid of the old drive info? What can I do to get rid of the old drive info or what steps can I take to resolve this issue? January 5, 20224 yr Community Expert You have to start the array after setting the slot yo Unassigned to get Unraid to ‘forget’ the old drive. If you simply reboot the change will not get committed - that happens when the array is started after making the change. After doing that you can then stop the array and assign the new drive to the slot.
