January 7, 20224 yr Hi im new to unraid (coming from omv) and have a strange problem. I got a nvme cache drive and i want to copy backuped data to it, via mounted USB3 ssd. Performance starts good with arrond 250 Mbits but after 1 minute i goes down to 70 Mbits. If i copy from my other PC via 1GB lan to the unraid share i have the same problem from 112Mits down to 70Mbits. Tested with another nvme but problem is the same. Drive FS is btrfs CT1000P2SSD8 CT500P1SSD8 Does anyone have an idea? Thanks Edited January 7, 20224 yr by Orishas
January 7, 20224 yr Solution https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/crucial-p2-m-2-nvme-ssd/2 However, the QLC variant averaged USB 2.0-like speeds of just 40 MBps after the SLC cache was full. So slow write performance should be normal.
