Unraid/Windows Killed NTFS Partitions on New 6TB

Featured Replies

Had windows NTFS partition drive.  BRAND NEW 5 days only red cmr 6tb.

Would like to recover/backup to another drive and the online, this is the backup...

Installed into UNRAID as unassigned drive

Mounted. Was transferring files and kept dropping out on Krusader via EXTERNAL USB STORAGE DRIVE USB 3.0
Process of elimination got rid of Garbage Sata Card Controller that was known error.

Used ONLY array to copy files - got about 50GB in , drive dropped. unmounted. Did not remount.
Removed, put onto Windows machine in EXTERNAL USB - Did not show up, mount, froze system.

Installed into Other windows 10 system. Drive shows up at freespace 500GB, 2 different Partitions, 1 mountable, 1 Unable to do anything.

I can only assume unraid when it mounted put some sort of filesystem on it that windows cannot see?

Device shows up in Unraind, unable to mount.

This drive is on my personal unraid system which is what diaog is from.

Cheers,

Mitch.

Neither UD nor Unraid will create any partitions or format a device unless you press the format button.
